Postcards from the Fourth World
A sonic voyage through trumpeter Jon Hassell's definition of "Fourth World Music", a hybrid of archaic and futuristic sounds, familiar yet alien, which originate from a "Fourth World" hovering between reality and fantasy, whose looks are subject to our personal interpretation.
This show will try to expand the meaning of this sub-subgenre by embracing other forms of music, which still share the same retro-futurism, dreaminess, and lysergia.
