Infinite Display
Infinite Display is a fictional gallery that transmits imaginary exhibitions by non-existent artists.
Each episode unfolds like a guided tour, in which the voice acts as a mental trigger, orienting the listener within an imagined space and activating the perceptual mechanisms needed to construct it.
The listener thus becomes both visitor and co-author, assembling a unique mental exhibition shaped by their memory, expectations, and experience. The sounds and music composing the episode, carefully selected from pre-existing works, are recontextualised according to a precise curatorial logic. At times they illustrate, at times they represent, or function as spatial descriptions articulating volumes, surfaces, distances, or gestures. Integrated into the narrative structure of the episode, these materials become tools of projection: sound becomes architecture, and the voice a form of staging.
Rooted in the tradition of ekphrasis and the phenomenology of listening, Infinite Display transforms radio into an exhibition space, in which each listener is invited to become a spectator, constructing their own three-dimensional map of the show: a subjective display that takes shape entirely through the act of listening.
