Permutations is the new album by Finnish artist Forces (Joonas Siren), to be soon released through the independent Florence-base label Biodiversità Records.

A dialogue between nature and mathematics, between organic growth and oscillating frequencies. Sine waves folding over themselves, like strands of DNA coiling into form.

Modulating one sine wave oscillator with another unlocks an extra-terrestrial sound palette, explored here through custom DX7 algorithms built in SuperCollider

R01 Parlour, il duo con base a Seoul formato da Youngwoo Lee e Hayane, opera all’intersezione tra esplorazione sonora e improvvisazione. Il loro lavoro per tastiere, sintetizzatori, chitarra ed elettronica si colloca dove l’ignoto e il familiare si incontrano: si sviluppa come un processo dal vivo, un campo d’ascolto ampliato che mette in risalto sottili risonanze ed echi delle tradizioni orientali all’interno di un paesaggio sonoro che suona al tempo stesso noto.

R01 Parlour, the Seoul based duo of Youngwoo Lee and Hayane, operates at the intersection of sound exploration and improvisation. Their work for keyboards, synthesisers, guitar and electronics lies where the unfamiliar and the familiar coalesce: it unfolds as a live process, an expanded field of listening that emphasizes subtle resonance and echoes of Eastern traditions within a sonic landscape that sounds wellknown.
