Crateri è un osservatorio aperto sulle molteplici declinazioni della Neue Musik che si propone l’obiettivo di sondare la contemporaneità musicale attraverso selezioni e ascolti mensili di opere e lavori del XXI secolo, e non solo. Crateri è un programma curato da Valentina Besegher

Crateri is an observatory opened towards the multiple declinations of New Music, with the aim of exploring the contemporary sounds through a monthly selection of works of the 21st century and more. Crateri is a programme by Valentina Besegher.

Valentina Besegher, visual artist e curatrice, vive e lavora a Berlino dal 2008. Per Labor Neunzehn cura dal 2015 la serie musicale “Cluster” dedicata all'indagine sonora dei linguaggi contemporanei, alla nuova musica, e all’uso di tecniche estensive. "Cluster" supporta il lavoro collaborativo e offre a musicisti, compositori e interpreti una piattaforma di scambio a Berlino 

Valentina Besegher, visual artist and curator, lives and works in Berlin since 2008. For Labor Neunzehn she curates since 2015 the music series "Cluster" dedicated to the sound investigation

A new music double bill by Labor Neunzehn with the canadian pianist Andrew Zhou and the berlin based clarinettist Ingólfur Vilhjálmsson the concert showcases a shortlist of exploratory works alongside classics of new music solos for clarinet and piano. The two instruments come finally together at the centre of the programme in “Ipotesi,” a piece by a lesser-known Ennio Morricone composed outside Hollywood’s imaginery, but not without sensing vision and movement.

A marzo di ogni anno si svolge a Berlino MaerzMusik. Negli ultimi anni il festival si è evoluto da festival per la musica contemporanea a “festival for time issues”, che potremmo tradurre come ”festival per le questioni del tempo”, focalizzando il fenomeno del tempo nelle sue dimensioni socio-politiche, filosofiche e artistiche.
